Thanks to everyone who participated in the fanzine exhibition on this year’s Bright Summer Tradeshow in Frankfurt, Germany.
There’s a lot of work to do. Lots of kids never even heard about fanzines and their independent power to transmit pure aesthetic ads free content from the subcultures to the subcultures. – Alexis Zavialoff & Alexander Basile

hellozine is back!
Hellozine is back? Uhm not exactly, it’s never been gone.
But let’s try and get at this whole thing with a short look at the past: We’ve been publishing almost frequently in the beginning, 2002 – 2006 were pretty busy years for us. We believe it were at least 8 issues in that timeframe. But then what happend? Well to be honest, we don’t know. The daily drag we started out fighting in the beginning took over, and what came out.. nothing good, that’s for sure.
But now the bad things have been overcome, Lutz is back on board, Alex is highly motivated (not that he hasn’t been in the past), we have an awesome coder who takes care of the functionality and we have a slightly new concept.
The most important thing though: We moved from web to print!
We’ve been discussing that for a long time, and somehow it never worked out, but when issue 10 came along, we just couldn’t resist the magic number. So from now on we’ll have a print edition of each issue, due to lack of corporate money in extremely limited quantities only. You can get yours in our new publications section.
What else? We’re happy to still be here. Enjoy.
